Hmm, True Movies currently airs 9pm to 5am but only if you have the local channels. They could move to that slot on COM6, thus being available everywhere, and Kix, which goes off air (and comes back on-air) mid-programme, would be able to go back to 24 hours on the local mux.

Some of the former Adult PARTY capacity (00:00 - 03:00) has indeed been reclaimed by TruTV.

Viacom18’s two Hindi language channels, Rishtey, and Colors HD, have been removed from Freeview.

After Sky integrated the Asian channels into their main packages, it looked inevitable that the aforementioned channels would be removed.

The Community Channel’s label has been renamed to TCC - possible rebrand perhaps?

Hours have been reduced (4am to 6am), even though there is plenty of capacity on COM8 to accommodate the channel.

Edit: it’s a temporary measure to squat on LCN 63 until the Community Channel regains its 24 hour slot.

Wasn't there a funding situation with Community Channel?

That was last year. The channel needed £300,000 to self-fund its operations for the next five years, otherwise it would have been dead as the dodo.

Sky IIRC donated half of the money needed, and donations rose throughout in the days leading up to the deadline.

NOT a sensible move. Older viewers will be expecting that name to be a kids channel, as it was the final name of The Children's Channel, which closed 20 years ago.

The number of people who even remember The Children's Channel, let alone those who associate the initials TCC with it must be absolutely miniscule

Small reshuffle has occurred today:
Blaze has jumped to LCN 63 - +1 to 80.

TCC has dropped to LCN 77, while moving to COM4 with the same hours (4am to 6am).

And I doubt all that effort will boost ratings at all.

Content is king, not the EPG position, as the local TV stations prove
