I doubt any of the dial-a-tart channels have got away with the content they’ve shown. Playboy TV Chat got in trouble for advertising their short lived Freeview service in 2012, and who could forget the abominable TMTV? The Ofcom Broadcast Bulletins from 2010 make for amusing, or at times, vomit-inducing reading.

Ofcom have found it difficult to penalise the Cellcast slapper channels - they’re licenced in the Netherlands, rather than in the UK.

At least Digital UK’s retune has more benefits that I thought, wiping off three slapper channels off the face of the Freeview EPG!

I can deal with stuff and even watched Eurotrash, but come on??? This is beyond what you get on Old Channel 5...

I remember a daytime chat format that had fully clothed women talking to lonely old men which was another Cellcast channel.

As for presentation of these channels, as you can imagine, the output was cheap with the majority of the budget going on the female 'presenters.' I imagine staffing was very low with a camera operator and someone in the gallery controlling the graphics. It wouldn't surprise me if the camera op also doubled as the floor manager. Lighting was also atrocious.

Clearly Freeview opened up extra revenue streams for Cellcast as most of the target audience could access their output without relying on Sky/Freesat.

In fact, in the dying days of ITVOndigital and the interim before Freeview, BBC News 24, CBeebies and CBBC were on 11,12 and 13, while QVC was on channel 19.

The equivalent space on the HD Mux is/was up for grabs, they can't sell off the space on the PSB (SD) mux though

Maybe they could start a rival for the adult channels. They could call it CBoobies

Is this the best people can do? Surely casualty, Rip off Britain , Bargain hunt, or Red rock can be be bit more smutty,

How can Ofcom not get them done? There can do the news channels and there based in the usa.

I thought Points of View sounded smutty.

Though you do find lots of red rocks on the channels in the lower end of the freeview EPG.

To be fair that was the best of the lot 😝
