Has everyone else noticed that there seems to be a load of sheep rushing through the village every night lately!

Lol yes I noticed a load of sheep in it last night - are they trying to make it like it was years ago when they had loads of farm animals in it - whatever next, Emmerdale Farm being brought back as the title.

And yes Gloria turned up in tonight's episode

Did you now Leah who plays Zoe Tate picked up an award for Best Actress at the Inside Soap Awards - the actress who plays Debbie also picked up an award. With Bad Girls getting an award for Best Drama, Emmerdale getting 2 awards and Corrie getting 5 awards it was a draw between the BBC and ITV as they got 8 awards each!

What did you all think of last nights 1 hr "special" - I thought the car crash and aftermath was really good but I do find the scenes with Eric/Rodney etc really boring on times.

Yes a well deserved win there for Leah Bracknell, Emmerdale often get's overlooked in the awards. Rodney can be a bit dull at times, but you've got to love all the comedy mainly coming from the older members of the cast, especially Betty, Edna & co.

So then Jez, from your magazine, can you tell us does Roberts girlfriend live or die ?

Yes it says Elaine come home but cant remember what happened - so Robert may have got away with it for now. It wasnt a big article, the main Emmerdale article this week was Charity who gets arrested. Shocked

I agree Emmerdale is very popular, ive watched it a long time but it isnt a patch on what it was before it went to 5 nights a week. Emmerdale also seldom gets on the front cover of TV mags - Inside Soap have only had 2 Emmerdale covers in the last year, one for Zoe finding out she was pregnant (nearly a year ago now) and one for Chris/Charity/Cain love triangle which was quite recent - they dont seem as keen on Emmerdale covers as Coro St and Eastenders.

It is very popular, regularly scoring 8-10m per episode for ITV. You can see why they are keen to keep it at 7pm, what other show would pull in those kind of ratings at that time ? ITV must win that slot every day.

I think they should go back to having quiz shows on a Friday night and they should show Emmerdale Mon-Thurs. It would just give a bit of variety. Although like you said as long as they keep pulling up to 10 million in for Emmerdale it will remain 5 days a week.

Thats good as she's a good little actress that one, much better than a certain person in corrie who's 10 years and more her senior!. I'm hoping she'll be the awww moment in this year's Soap Awards, just like Josh from Brookside was last year.

Anyway, its good to see Mrs Hope back this week. I don't think much of Siobhan though, she's the worst of the Marsden family and its her who's staying. They should keep Elaine and the mother at least

Just resurrecting this thread!

I think Emmerdale has been really good these past few weeks, im so glad they have got rid of the Sunday episode the last few weeks, although I see they are now showing a 1 hr ep on Tuesday nights, its not so bad spread over 5 nights rather than 6.

I loved the storyline with Eric/Steph/Gloria this week and the Siobhan/Paul storyline was really good too, when he found out she had actually had an abortion.

Ive heard that Charity finds out she is pregnant which leads to her getting bail, but who is the father? Is it Chris, Cain or Marlon? My money is on Marlon and this will lead to Trisha leaving the show (after she returns obviously) - Bernice is also coming back for 12 episodes in the new year, rumour has it she wants Gaby.
