What an ending!

I think it should also be pointed out (to the relevant idiots at each broadcaster) that the ratings last night are even more remarkable considering the channel didn't have a DOG to tell us what we were watching.

They're not to do with short term ratings, but long term brand awareness.

No broadcaster is going to look at Dead Set and change their policy

I only caught the last 15 minutes which defeats the object seeing as I missed the other 4.5 Episodes Laughing Will buy the DVD though, the little bit I bought was great.

Plus that ending was a nice twist & totally unexpected,

I honestly thought they'd cop out by having one of them survive, but they didn't, which made the ending all the better. Also liked the bit when the guy was been ripped to shreads and said something like "Go on you ugly b*tch, there's plenty to eat" Laughing

I just wished I had seen the bloody thing now (pun not fully intended). Did they say when the DVD's out?

The whole thing is on tomorrow, in full.

Oh right, thanks, I must remember that (probably won't, forgot that the Tom Baker HIGNFY was on tonight (Friday) as well, luckily it's on Tomorrow (Saturday), and the extended version as well)

I've been trying to watch the final episode on 4OD / the web thing since midnight last night, but it's still broken.

I know!! I'll discuss it in more detail after the E4 showing tonight so people will have a chance to see it.

It's not the ending I was expecting. A very good series overall though with some proper scares, I thought it would have been more comedic.

Special praise must go to Andy Nyman as the producer and Jaime Winstone as Kelly.

Certainly was never going to be an "and they all live happily ever after" conclusion, but even for Charlie Brooker it was a bit final. NO wonder he said they're won't be a series 2!

Would be good though to see a bit more of this genre on our screens again though - perhaps C4 could revive their Shockers strand.

It did become obvious to me that there was going to be no survivors - nobody would be able to wrap it up in half an hour.

If you want to make a zombie movie that isn't a cliche why doesn't somebody make one where they find a cure and cure everybody? It seems so obvious to me.
