It seems I should have watched the whole thing through.

I thought the pace was so slow and it didn't seem to be going anywhere, so I gave up at the first break.

Its picked up very quickly thereafter. Give it another go, if you get the chance.

I might have been having a bad night - after all, I found Argumental on Dave quite good.

Too much of the Bishops Finger followed by Stella, perhaps...

I think it should also be pointed out (to the relevant idiots at each broadcaster) that the ratings last night are even more remarkable considering the channel didn't have a DOG to tell us what we were watching.

Heathen. Never mix quality ale with Chavozade. Get a bit of St Austell Tribute down your neck.

Oh dear. It's all a bit '28 Days Later' Rolling Eyes There are other disasters that could affect the whole nation and force people to start killing each other - apart from a now clichéd zombie virus.

We haven't had a good nuclear war since Threads. A hurricane would be quite topical, what with all this global warming (that's why it's snowing in October..) or how about a good old fashioned alien invasion?

Edit: Second episode is much better - the woman with the gun is great compared to the dimwitted characters (probably because she doesn't work in the meeja...!)

I'm quite impressed they also remembered to remove the DOG on E4+1 as well.

Given the blurb at the beginning about how the programme's best watched in surround sound, widescreen, and in a darkened room, it's a shame it's not on Channel 4 instead, so it could also be watched in HD, given E4's not fantastic resolution.

Really enjoying Dead Set. Smile

I'm wondering if it will get a repeat on Channel 4 at some point (not E4)?

I'm sure it will - and sooner rather than later.

I'm really enjoying the programme however stripping it over the week wasn't a good idea. Not liking the half hour shows so much as you just lose the suspense. And don't get me started on the HUGE break inbetween.

Still watching though!
