Which, I believe, can be a form of comedy. How well planned by the programme makers!

Not what it once was is it. Where was the Chairman of Fosters giving his speech? Disgraceful!

The opening monologue is normally the best thing about it. It's just a shame he doesn't do the black pudding joke any more

EDIT (because I've now seen it): The show seemed a lot more polished this year and didn't have the usual time problems that it does. Even at the end they didn't seem to be rushing off air
