I really love this series. I think Bradley makes a great host, being friendly and good at reading the questions quickly but clearly.
One question though. Has anyone noticed that every time Bradly asks the first player which Chaser they don't want, it always seems to be that one? I would say 95% of the time, in fact I can only think of one where it wasn't that person, so my question is, is it fixed to be the one they hate, as in are they all waiting out back?

I have watched most of the episodes from this years series of The Chase, I completely missed the first series somehow. It is quite good but unfortunately it falls for the modern trap of being more than thirty minutes long. Most of the dialogue also appears to be scripted to.
The chasers seem to have good knowledge but one fault is the 'Final Chase'. The contestants have to include the time it takes to 'buzz' in within their two minute time limit whereas The Chaser does not. Bradley also asks the questions to The Chaser much faster than to the contestants.
Another disappointing feature is the soundtrack, it is too repetitive and lazily arranged. The graphics are not bad except for the opening titles and stings which are predominently red despite the set being blue most of the time. I know it probably represents The Chaser but the programme is called 'The Chase' not 'The Chaser'.
Not bad but certainly better than '101 Ways To Leave A Gameshow'!

Can this thread be used for both presentation related discussion as well as the Chaser's rota or should I start another thread for that?

Not today... bloke said he didn't want to take on Anne... Mark Labbett comes out.
The Chase has been a big hit for ITV, one of the best gameshows they've done for a long time.

The edits are visible in the repeats of the first series. It does look awkward. Series 2 did look far more polished and tidy.
Also in the first series, the Chase game board was longer, they took one step out for the second series.

I noticed, the set seems very odd compared with the now familiar one. The presentation and the music cues are also different. Unfortunately, as I am used to the current set and style due to the fact that I missed the first series, it makes for uncomfortable viewing.
