So it would appear Ed and Oucho are off again next week. He's been "banned" for breaking the rules this week and the cactus is off to live with Anne Robinson in her office.

I've probably missed it somewhere along the line but what is the "joke" about Oucho and Anne Robinson? According to the profile for the cactus on the CBBC site he's most likely to say "don't send me back to the Weakest Link". Has it been explained why?

I'm not quite sure, I think it's just her mean persona and being her office plant Oucho must have been tormented? *shrugs*

I think the joke is that Ed regularly tells jokes about Anne Robinson (e.g. plastic surgery, scary ladies) at the last CBBC1 announcement of the day, where he tries to persuade people to tune into CBBC instead of watching The Weakest Link .

I think Oucho has another running joke, involving a Dolly Parton impersonation. Of course, I don't actually watch this, I just pick it up en passant ...

I love the bit in that clip where he mentions her driving ban...

Doesn't Ed also torment Oucho with Anne Robinson's face?

I wonder if they've been banned for turning CBBC brown?

Has anyone seen Holly and Juan who are filling in for Ed & Oucho this week? If so what do you think?

They seem to be a bit better than Ben & Ciaren, but saying that they have improved since they've been filling in.

I think the problem still lies with the fact that the office and the things that they do are all worked around Ed & Oucho, and just don't work with anyone else, especially having two presenters around the desk.

Holly and Juan are much better than Ben and Ciaran. They always seemed to talk down to kids, and was rather cringeworthy presenting. Made Anne Foy look good! I agree with the office format, it really only works well with Ed and Oucho, with the fill in presenters it feels really odd and it's like they try too hard to be similar. Sometimes I wish they did have a proper set.

Also why is a CBeebies show Jakers shown on CBBC, it seems rather babyish

Did Oucho actually get married by the way, I only followed the storyline when I could over on BBC One, it was very funny!
