I'm new on here and can maybe help with this question. I'm one of the owners of samnixon.net, and Sam told us about this new show at one of his band's gigs in March and it is definitely a separate show to TMi. It was recently featured on the CBBC website's "Be on a Show" section and it stated on there that it was a brand new show with a working title of The Ultimate Superhero. Unfortunately the closing date for the show has now passed so the link no longer works, but part of it said "We are looking for children to turn themselves into unique, original, never seen before Superheroes to take part in a brand new CBBC show hosted by Sam and Mark."

Could the superhero thing actually be a feature for TMi?

Is it definately going to be on Saturday mornings? Perhaps it will be on for a few weeks before TMi begins then as has already been speculated.
As for SMart, they've taken the dedicated off the end of the version on iplayer, but it does have it listed in the info about the programme.
It's nice to see that it has returned to form, it makes it a much better show, it'll be interesting to see who they have on the programme guest presenting over the next weeks.
I wonder why they've launched the series in the autumn, I'd have thought that it would have launched around September like last year, unless they wanted it to launch quite quietly.

Part of me is thinking that with Blue Peter now on a summer break that they may be using TC2, afterall isn't it still a CBBC studio?
I suggested this last year during TMi's run. Surely it would be better if they could either use TC2 for Blue Peter like they used to do, where it was very much a sofa area, a make area and various pieces against a lit curtain, or create a simple set that could be easily used for TMi, and/or SMart.

I wonder if TMi will get the same, better than TC9 studio as SMart? Hope so.

That's excellent.
Oooh, they're back now - with an interesting variation on that template. http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/ I've posted that in the media websites section, so probably best to discuss it there.
