Caught some of Newsround today, and their reporter in Manchester nearly got splintered by broken glass as she was inside a tower block reporting due to the rowdy football fans, someone lobbed a ball at the window and left the reporter rather shocked and stunned. She couldn't wait to get out of there.

Poor Helen, not the best idea for them to report from the heart of the action sometimes. Wink

I thought Caroline Flack was going to host BB's Little Brother?
Digital Spy says two different people are now hosting:

Supposedly it was a decoy to throw the media off the scent. The roumer was that Caroline would present it with George Lamb off BBC Radio 6Music. However I think it was someone who got over excited by what they read in Heat. Rolling Eyes

Considering it was Heat who revealed first about George and Zezi, thats untrue. Heat are usually reliable when it comes to Big Brother if they aren't randomly guessing whats in the garden.

Another point is that Caroline was reported by a fan website as the host because of the obvious John Noel links and her being rumoured to the heavens, but they got it wrong and quickly covered it up with Caroline being a media herring. There are a few flaws in the story ...

not sure about this, but ive just been on the MTV Studios site, and in the "news" section, there is a TMi logo and year 2008. the last time TMi was in LS1 it was 2006/2007, so could this mean they will be going back to LS1, or any MTV Studio for the 3rd Series?

Incidentally, I had no idea that Top Of The Pops Reloaded used to be filmed at MTV Studio A.

The news article is empty, it just says 2008 and the TMi logo. Perhaps they're waiting for news from the BBC?

Hmm, very interesting.

Wasn't there a rumour (I'll say rumour as I can't remember seeing any article commentating on it) that MTV were going to sell the Leicester Sq. studios?

If I remember correctly it was Camden Lock, the old TV-AM studios, that MTV are rumoured to want to sell. I think considering it feeds all the MTV-owned UK stations (VH1, TMF and the MTV spin-offs) as well as the bulk of the European variations, its a bit on the small side for what they want to do with it. Still available for hire in the industry though.

Paramount and Nick pass through there too on the way to uplink - when it caught fire a few years ago Paramount was taken off air.

I'm sure Paramount does, but didn't Nick come from somewhere else in Central London?

Considering MTV either buy in or use location filming for their programmes it's hardly surprising they want to sell off a big studio complex, all they need is transmission and these days that just comes from anywhere outsourced.

Nick came from the Trocadero in its early life and moved to Rathbone Place later on.
