That would be good, but I think there's meant to be a show with Pinky and Perky being made too, but I think just having the 2 shows changing every 13 weeks would be better.

It is good news if it's true about it returning.

As for Pinky & Perky, I thought that it was a new CGI version made for CBeebies, I may be wrong though.

I do like that idea of having two shows alternating, a bit like Richard & Judy and Paul O'Grady do it at the moment at 5pm on Channel 4.

I agree about a larger studio, not overly large, but something to just give them a bit of extra room to do more sketches and such in.

The good thing about the Leicester Sq. studio and studio 9 is that they can easily leave the studio for leicester sq. and/or the blue peter garden.

As I said previously, if Studio 2 (the BP studio) is owned by CBBC currently, then they should be able to easily use the same studio by changing elements of the set ready for the weekend, and then revert it back before Tuesday's BP.

I thought that Pinky & Perky was being made for CBeebies rather than CBBC.

I believe the current BP set isn't designed to be taken apart...

I understand that, and it would be too much to be taken apart, but they could do as they currently do and mask off areas, so cover up BP ships with TMi logos, change the sofas, carpets, lighting and convert it into a different set.

SMart and TMi manage to set up in the same studio ok but they have sets that can be taken down easily. Also, is SMart live on a Sunday?

No, I think SMart is a pre record because I don't think they could dismantle the TMi set and put up the SMart set that quickly because both sets have no similarities.

I think it would make sense for TMi and Blue Peter to swap studios because TMi would then get the bigger studio of TC2 where there is more room and with the bigger set elements and sketches, they need more room. Blue Peter coming from TC9 would make sense because of the location of the Blue Peter garden, and with smaller set elements, Blue Peter could make better use of the space in TC9 than TMi does.

With TMI's set being rather rounded, I imagine that they place the TMi set infront of the SMart set rather than having to dismantle both.

That is what I would suggest about the Blue Peter set, so that TMI literally adds in their set elements. They could even simplify the BP set more so that it could be achieved more.

I'm not sure if BP should move to TC9 as they have already suffered from having a smaller set with TC2, where would they put everything in TC9, the only thing is if they used the garden more, though you always have the problem with the weather.

Blue Peter in TC9- don't forget the studio has been effectively split in half and there is the area through the double doors that could make a good seating area, with the rest of TC9 (which is actually pretty big) being used for the rest of the show.

To be honest, I don't even think TMi should be coming from TVC. They should be somewhere else such as The London Studios where there is direct public outside the studios rather than a garden on one side and a carpark in the other. Going out onto the river bank where This Morning do outside features from could work just as well as Leicester Square- a feature lacking in this years show. It should also be extended to 2 hours (if they insist on shortening it) from 10am-12pm. The main Saturday morning show should be a feature of the Saturday morning schedule, not tucked away at 9am followed by endless repeats. It should be the other way around.
