heard a rumour (just a rumour, mind you) when I went round BBC @ The Mailbox last week that a CBBC program might be using the old One Show studio overlooking The Cube and the canals. Is that studio used for anything atm?

That studio isn't there any more. If I'm correct then they used a temporary extention to the back studio. Otherwise whats left is the small studio at the back of the newsroom used for the Politics Show in the Midlands.

Slightly off topic now, but where does the ONE show come from in London? Is it Television Centre with a backdrop of White City or is it actually in a studio at White City?

A) They want more room as they ended up doing more sketches/comps and therefore want more space, or most probably the more fesible reason...
B) With MTV's autumn revamp of programmes, could they be wanting to use the studio themselves, therefore not letting TMi use it?

Any idea how long the new series will be commissioned for?

Not sure how long series 2 will be on for but its on for an hour and a half this time according to samnixon.net

So TMi has been recomissioned? Then they have a responsibility of not abusing that privilidge this time by virtue of the fact they'll have no ITV opposition. Namely, they need to get QUALITY guests, of the kind Swap Shop had, not Charley Urea or anyone else from Big Brother. And any competitions should be e-mail or write-in only.

TMi returns September 8th BBC2. They're advertising to be on the show on the CBBC website.

It says in the BBC Press release that the new look will be unveiled before the end of July, with today being the 31st will the new look be unveiled today?

No that will go- they are reverting back to a 'real-life' studio.

No it's actually a un-used bit of office space at the RedBee Media end of White City Media Village.

Yes, it's a double-height space to the side of Red Bee's Broadcast Centre. The view from the studio looks south with the Media Centre building to the right.
