Ed giving Oucho dating advice, turns into Oucho outburst.

Ross Lee (the guy off Chute) will be presenting CBBC every weekday morning from 10:15am in the CBBC Office with someone called Bob (that maybe a puppet). He's on the CBBC Channel now to talk to Ed & Oucho. He says they'll be games and other things. Does that mean children will be able to phone in?

That would be interesting. They have said that they will be phasing in competitions again, but we'll see what they do.

They could always go down the route of getting viewers to email in, and then they could phone them back to take part.

I like the idea of them doing something with some children being on holiday, plus it makes sense to use someone different, and Ross seems to be a great choice as he has that sort of weird style that different but would compliment that of Ed. For who Bob is, I suppose we'll find out on Monday.

Could they also be trailing him to maybe fill the weekend?

Could anybody shed any light on what they did with the Broom Cupboard during holidays? That's before the days of studo A. I know that they had Phillipa Forrester who used to do BBC 2 at the weekend, but what about before this time, such as the Andi Peters or Andy Crane eras?

According to The Broom Cupboard, during the Andy Crane era, he hosted the first 4 weeks of the summer holidays, and then Debbie Flint hosted the last 2 from the broom cupboard.

Then in 1987 we saw programmes like "But First This", and later "Why Don't You"

Not sure if I've interpreted the info correctly, but there's reams of historical stuff on that site - well worth a look.

But First This wasn't really a programme, it was basically CBBC from one of the Pres studios, it used to have phone ins and features and the like.

On the Christmas Special (last in series) of TMi there is:

Some nice festive graphics on TMi today, great to hear that Christmas theme again. Caroline won the friends contest and they also said that it will be the last show of the series next week. Also during one of the games Mark said reacting to a funny moment "That'll be on the best of show" It made me wonder if there will be a best of show like last series?
