There's new cartoons coming to CBBC like Frankensteins Cat.
Also Pedro and Frankensheep wich you can see their calender on the cbbc website is going to be a 10 x 4 minute series.
This site is the people who made the cartoons that i've mentioned: http://www.brothersmcleod.co.uk/index.asp
Does anyone think these cartoons will be succesful Confused: (sp?)

Sounds like CBBC have copied that other kids' channel 'Nickelodeon' - on the idea of short cartoons.

Well Nick have been doing shorts for years, and mostly animations.
The Owl comes from France, doesn't it, the same people who also have their polar bear.

CBBC have the great position of being advert free, so that during the day they can schedule these 4 minute programmes to fill between a programme or two, and in the afternoon can use them to fill gaps when airing shows like Chucklevision and Tracy Beaker, etc. that don't fill the half an hour.

Very good welcome to Christmas. I still would have liked the decorations on top of last weeks ice theme they would have looked lovely, but it's great with what they've done, not sure about the Christmas man, very random.

I just love how very random and sureal CBBC has become since their rebrand, even with commissions such as chute. It's great.

Why is there a nearly naked mannequin next to the desk? Surely that alienates most of CBBC's target audience?

Well it isn't completely naked but when it was first unveiled (sp?) there was just a leaf stuck to it. I think it's there because cacti get xmas men like we get xmas trees. But i can't remember Confused Does anyone else no?

Yeah, I think that was the explanation. They forgot the Christmas tree, and so Oucho brought in the Christmas man, and then (quite cutely) pleaded with Ed to keep it, so they did.
