I notice that TMI is now back on, on Saturday mornings. Interesting to note that the show is now only 1.5 hours long and appears to be coming from TVC rather than the Leicester Square studio. It's a shame really as i thought TMI was a great package from Leicester Square. Had a real sense of Audience participation if they went outside. Still more of these nonsense cost cutting excercise's from the greatest of BBC management teams i guess. Bring back Greg!

If you read my reply to Simon above you will see although the show is shorter in duration, it still has the same studio content as there is no full length cartoons and the inserted stuff barely lasts about 10-15 minutes tops

They were based at the MTV studios in Leicester Square but MTV have decided to sell them hence TMi moving to the Beeb. I agree it had more atmosphere at Leicester Square but the show is still as funny as ever.

Sounds good if the studio time has not been lost. I only caught the last 30 mins last Saturday so will watch it all this week now i know its on. Do you know what the MTV Studios are used for now? Are they even still studios?

It is the perfect time for it, im usually studying on a saturday and no i dont like horse racing on as im doing my economics! Their version of the OC could be a winner too

I do remember back when I was in my teens that I used to watch the core on channel 5 on a saturday afternoon, not all teens go out, and if they only have freeview, they only really have T4 and e4, not much more else.

Least you had Channel5 i'm in Ireland.

They're not hosting it, just appearing in a special episode.

Ok but how do you no?

Sam Nixon (i think its Nixon) put this on his TMi webpage (in text style writing so i changed it):

For the next two days me & mark are filming a Best Of Friends special which u can see in the new year.

Why would they be filming for two days if they were just "appearing" in it?

Well that proves it. The show's format lasts two days, and you can't do the entire series in that time anyway.

I hope they're not hosting it and are only appearing as stated. I've said it before ( and here it comes again! ) I think Rani and Abs are fantastic presenters, especially their on screen chemistry. They would ideal for a Saturday morning show IMO.

MTV are in the process of selling it which is the real reason why they left Leicester Square, not because of cost cutting.

But surely they could have gone into a bigger studio at the BBC.
Even though you actually get more studio content now I would still prefer them until 12, it actually made a saturday morning, and surely more teens are more likely to watch TMi leading up to 12 and into switch rather than tracy beaker, or scooby doo as stand alone programmes.
