anyone remember the cbbc bug bags? It would be great to have somekind of club - just like they used to have on the old, old website. Kids love freebies. Very Happy

I reckon the cactus is actually one of the Lambie-Nairn bugs, come back to haunt us.

I'm just glad CBBC has a proper studio again, with an 80's twist and a puppet. ^_^ Embarassed

I watched a segment of the IVC and I think that the new set is in the corner of TC9. When Ed opened the door, what looked like the TMi set was revealed.

Sounds interesting. Does anyone have a capture of that so I can see?

I haven't been watching as I'm now a grown up *ahem* but have they seriously brought back the Broom Cupboard?.

Brilliant!

There's an image up there somewhere, it's really very good.

Of course, I'm watching for er.. reasons of education, you understand.

Interesting theory, wouldn't this restrict the space that TMi have? Surely that studio isn't that big anyway, though a good use of one studio rather than using 2, isn't SMart supposed to be coming from studio 9 this series too?

The new set/presentation style on the CBBC channel is really quite superb - gets back to the intimacy of the broom cupboard and what made it work so well in the first place. It's just a shame they're only doing it in the afternoon, and not on BBC1, as they seem to have completely dropped all the voiceovers that used to go on idents into shows and just run a standard ident now, concentrating only on holding viewers at the end of the show with credit shrinks/next holders.

But Ed and his "office" are very good indeed. I'm pretty sure he even mentioned "Children's BBC" in the first link Smile

Anyone seen the non stop animative dog on the channel?

It's not that annoying to be honest, though I imagine it's annoying to others. It'd be less annoying if it was constantly moving.
