Yes, very child friendly. Would definitely raise awareness about the CBBC Channel.

Arrow They could get Nev or Basil Brush presenting CBBC wen there's no one else ( Wink ) A no a lot of people don't like Anne but what's happened to her? She's still apart of CBBC because she is on the site in the stars section. And what about Barney and Jake (a no there busy but busy doing what) And Abs isn't on CBBC anymore either. One last thing, maybe Caroline from TMi could start presenting CBBC Arrow

I think Anne will return. Jake does sport stuff, like Sportsround and sometimes BBC Sport. I like the idea of the puppets, Nev would be good. He's not 'busy', Smile has now finished.

Well, I would be surprised if there were any 30-year-olds who would watch such a channel regularly (well, unless they have some kind of disability, or happen to be Tumble Weed).

Only seen the idents so far, but just heard one, and I like the CBBC shouty bit.

I seem to remember them doing this well into the yellow idents mainly for the BBC Two.

EDIT: CBBC Extra feed on freeview (ch. 301) has revamped, the BBCi text design hasn't update, but the text has.

Barney & Nev are appearing in Bear Behaving Badly - something that looks a lot like Basil Brush.

The graphics are a tad boring, in my opinion. They wasted a chance to have a colourful new look. Maybe different colour logos and different backgrounds on the next captions would make them look better.

The CBBC Channel BBCi bridge on Freeview has been updated with a new look, and the CBBC Extra page too on p570.

EDIT: Also, Newsround on BBCi (p571) is now under the CBBC extra branding pages instead of BBC NEWS.

out of interest. what do you think of the graphics aside from the dog simon?

Studio just turned up.... nothing particularly special in my opinion, it is a bit like the broom cupboard (not a desk as such, but....)

It's better than a CSO. It does look like they're going for the broom cupboard roots, but it looks bigger than the broom cupboard, could they be coming from TC10 again?

He entered from the back of the set, it's a set made to be the CBBC office (supposedly), why they didn't go the whole hog and do it as a cleaning room, 'the place where the brooms are kept'.
