I wonder when they will change CBBC eXtra?

I love it all! I love the randomness of the green shapes, I love the wacky idents and the fact that they are so versatile.

What would really complement this look however would be a nice set in TC9, like before this CSO crap. I'm going to reserve my judgement on Ed till this afternoon when he is live though. I'd rather have CSO than out of vision continuity.

Once again, though hardly surprisingly, an opportunity for a channel to drop its DOG has been missed.

I don't see how this moment was better than any other to drop a DOG. Could you explain why please?

That's actually a lot better than I thought, though of course I can see where the 'drunk young males' analysis comes from.

Has Class TV started again? Any signs of new graphics for that? And what about the studio?

Who gives a s**t, I certainly don't especially since it's transparent.

Because it was a whole new look for the channel? C5's relaunch was the point at which they dropped their DOG because it felt confident enough to no longer need one. So why not other channels? No, they just follow the crowd.

Why does, or would it affect you so much. I thought the CBBC channel was for children?

I would say that during a rebrand was the last time you would drop a DOG. You say Five dropped theirs because the brand was recognised, wheras CBBC's is barely 6 hours old.

Hardly. Five was five years old at the time, CBBC is five years old now. But they should really have shown some balls from the beginning and launched without the logo.
