I'm sure Gemma said she'd be on the channel every day...
It is Anne Foy who is leaving, as on Friday 24th August, she said "That's it for me on CBBC for a while, I've had a fun week...". Suggesting that she will fill in for presenters when they are away or she is taking a break from CBBC for a few months.

She said that she will be on the channel all day this sunday before she goes, and she then said thankyou for the past 4 1/2 years. When did she join, was it on XChange, or did she join on CBBC One with Andrew in the summer when Angellica did the Saturday Show and then subsequently move to XChange and then the channel, etc.?
As for the set, it sounds interesting, does anyone know if it will be live? And will it be an open office, just like a camera in an office with no decoration, or a corner with a glass wall looking out onto the office, etc?
Thinking about it, will they just use the old short change office studio as it was turned into a studio, so presumebly it was left as one :S.

Please not Anne Foy! I agree with other posters that she doesn't come across well - I'd seen Gemma do a few links recently and Anne for the same programmes. It just seems that Gemma came over as very natural.
