Has nobody noticed that the CBBC end cap on BBC1 still lists the CBBC channel as being on Sky channel 616? I'd only just noticed it myself and had to rewind the Sky+ just to double check!

What 'end cap' are you referring to? The one when CBBC on BBC1 ends and hands over to the CBBC channel?

By my research, it has been on channel 613 since the end of August 2007 - you'd think someone would have noticed this by now?

Considering the current look has been in use since September 2007 - and was revised in September 2010 - that is a bit out of date! (mind you there do still have the orignal TMi lineup in the Christmas idents this year, thank god they dropped the Mark Speight one pretty quick...)

Sadly I don't have the newest BBC1 end cap on my computer.

I see that Hole in the Wall is now on the CBBC Channel. Will kids really find the so called "celebrites" going into the water funny?

Hmm, so it appears there is one with the correct channel number in existence then. That is very strange. They've used the same one again this morning (with 616 as the channel number) that they did yesterday. It's not a Christmas variation of the closing sequence so it would seem it is in use every day, but obviously someone's not paying much attention to detail!

Yes.

Same principle behind showing Total Wipeout on the CBBC Channel, I take it.
Lots of "celebrities" getting incredibly muddy, looking incredibly silly and all in the name of charity.
Mind you, the set for Total Wipeout is fully viewable on Google Maps. Which is nice.
