That really is a shame. I especially loved series 1 of TMi, because the presenters genuinely laughed and did hilarious things, had a great friendship, and was in my opinion the best Saturday morning show since SMTV Live, and the best BBC Saturday morning show since Live & Kicking (until Jamie & Zoe left of course!).
It hasn't been the same since that series, but it has still been a great show to watch and, as with most other children's shows this past decade, has gone out without a wimper. Thank goodness that the last part of the last show celebrated and actually told the viewer about the end of the show. It is a sad day, and probably the end of an era of Saturday morning (to Friday afternoon) shows. I don't think that we'll ever see a show like this on Saturday mornings ever again to be perfectly honest.
The thing is, I guess, that kids just don't care about these shows anymore. They prefer to do other things on the weekend. What can you do, eh? Not much.
TMi was a truly great show that took some great presenters who had fun doing what they did and resonated with their audience. It's just too bad it was, and never will, be recognised for what it was. A truly great children's show.

Was never the biggest TMi fan myself, but that highlights montage was quite emotional, especially the clips from series 1 where it was slap bang in the centre of London and really got the public involved with games
such as "Loot Machine" and so on.
A fitting finale and good that Caroline Flack was acknowledged at the end.

Yep a real shame it's gone - such a great show and really well made too. I agree with the comments that it's probably the last of the traditional Saturday morning shows we'll get unless they really pull something out of the bag with this new Dick and Dom effort (which ironically is what TMi replaced).

I believe the Dick and Dom show will be different to the bungalow. Less gunge I believe.

Jedward are being lined up to front a new Saturday morning show for CBBC, according to reports.
The Sun claims that the BBC wants the former X Factor stars to become the next Ant & Dec after their ITV2 show was axed.
A source said: "Yes, it's curtains for the ITV2 show. They did one series and obviously everyone hoped they'd do another but it's not happening. I think ITV2 have had enough of them. But their loss could well be the BBC's gain.
"There's a lot of interest in them doing a Saturday morning show on CBBC as obviously with their daft nature they appeal to kids."
The twins recently announced plans to compete in Eurovision.

I always thought TMI will be good on Sunday Mornings on BBC Two as a alternative to Andrew Marr
MI
I think it's safe to say for ANYONE under the age of 15, anything is an alternative to Andrew Marr.

Sam and Mark don't want to move to Salford and were famously unkeen on early mornings. They agreed to series 5 when it was moved to a Friday, and there's talks of them doing another series next year, and just travelling up on Thursdays and Fridays to rehearse and do the show.
Anyone know why it was the last one? Or have the BBC pulled the axe yet again?

Has nobody noticed that the CBBC end cap on BBC1
still
lists the CBBC channel as being on Sky channel 616? I'd only just noticed it myself and had to rewind the Sky+ just to double check!
By my research, it has been on channel 613 since the end of August 2007 - you'd think someone would have noticed this by now?
