Yes, Sam said in the promo for next week (during the are you scareder than a 10 year old? part) that Mark will be back

I see that in the slot that Sarah Jane Adventures has been filling every Thursday and Friday for the past 5 weeks, they will start again with repeats of Series 1. Has this happened before on the BBC One version of CBBC where they actually repeat a series.

It's confirmed on Sam and Mark's website that Mark is back on TMi this week. Very Happy

Take it he's talking about Paul Smith - who was still head of CBBC pres in 2002 when the channel launched, not sure how much longer he remained in that role.
