Excuse my ignornace with this but how does his sad death link to serious gameshow being cut other than both shows starting with the name "Serious" ?
Outside of this, Sam was riding the show alone this week. With the segement renamed, the robot wasn't there as well. Whilst last week's Serious Gameshow wasn't on, they did have the robot at the end of the scores. However he wasn't in the show at all.
Anyone know why the "Hole In The Wall" segment of the end game has been renamed "limbo"? Did the rights holders kick up a fuss or something? If so, at least someone is watching...
I thought Sam did very well presenting the show on his own, and it was nice to see the guests involved in the games. Very sad news regarding what happened during the filming of Serious Explorers too, and I can see why it was decided to rename Serious Gameshow.
It was cut due to a mess up with the scores and it was deemed sensible not to broadcast the game where the scores got messed up. Since this series is being run as a 'competition' to find the TMi-ers with the most smarks, they could run into bother with previous or subsequent contestants for cheating / the contest being a fix. Simple as that.
