Yet another year where I'm disapointed with the treatment of this programme. An earlier timeslot, no Caroline, some shows pre recorded & still from studio 9.
I understand that there are financial constraints on everyone in television at the moment, but it would be great for the BBC to turn around and give the full morning slot to TMi play with once again & a bigger studio.

I think it will be a different show without Caroline, more the fact that there is no new co host, it will be interested come next saturday.

TMi was a decent programme. They made the perfect programme for Sat morns, and they let it down. the used dog meat instead of steak for series 2 onwards. The TMi flat was a great idea, being able to go out onto L. Square from LS1. Studio 9 is so limited, not just because of it's size, but it's location; TV Centre. There's no crowds around to use with games and so on, apart from maybe a few stray cameramen.

I don't like the whole 3D thing either, never have done. Much prefered the Series 1 titles, graphics... Series 1 everything to be honest.

I'd like to see a Live and Kicking style programme return to Sat Morns to. Surely they'll be laying TMi to rest soon, they're obviously not trying with it.

Programmes like TMi are very expensive though, and few people watch them, and they can't be repeated on the CBBC Channel a few months down the road. So they're very poor value for money.

Transmission Impossible was done on a miniscule budget - the same per minute as they have to spend in presentation - and that show managed to match the ratings of the previous series of TMi.

Tmi I think will be better when CBBC moves to salford.

EDIT: When talking about series one being the best.

What has that got to do with the budget and viewers of the programme?

They will still spend the same amount of money on it. I highly doubt people will realise they are in Salford.

Does anybody know the reason why Caroline will not be returning to TMi this year?

I like the 3d CBBC logo in the saturday morning promo. The advert was advertising the new line up for saturday. Yes tmi was in it and caroline was not.
