I do sometimes but it's a shame they did not give them a new set.

Why anybody finds that irritating mutt Hacker "entertaining" I really don't understand.
Should have been left in Scoop as far as I'm concerned.
Not a patch on Oucho. Oucho was genius. Good puppets tend to be replaced by crap puppets who then get dropped and there are no puppets at all. Then the channel gets relaunched with a new mascot and so the cycle begins again. In 1999 Otis the Aardvark was replaced by Emlyn the Gremlin. Otis lasted five years, Emlyn lasted six months.

What I did find humorous though, on a related note, is where these puppets are now. Gordon the Gopher apparently became a drunkard in recent years (though Philip Scofield fabricated most of this), Edd the Duck wanted and still does want to be a Blue Peter pet and Otis the Aardvak apparently still works in the BBC Canteen. I can only presume the Gremlyn was shot and the cactus will probably be a staple of CBBC for some time to come.

And Oucho is away (with Ed) Filming series2 of excellent inventions!

a builder was on set today, I don't know what the actor was constructing, perhaps a new set?? anything other than the current set would be a vast improvement!!

No he was building a extention 2 hackers kennel.

Yer last time there was building work with ed and oucho they had a new set.

But wasn't the set exactly the same as the other one, it was just the fact that they'd moved the set into another studio? I don't think there's much wrong with the old set, it's the fact that I still associate it with Ed & Oucho.

Is there any chance that Ed & Oucho will come back to do the links, even if it's Dec - Apr?

I thought there was a roumer that ed and oucho would be back in febuary for there weekend show. I think the set stayed the same because it was ed and oucho was there at the time. But ur right it's less chance of them change the set. I wish they whould change the set a bit to make it more Iain and Hackers.

Surely they could just redecorate, possibly changing the desk & blinds around the window, change things such as the employee of the week, and little set designs that were created when Ed & Oucho came along. The only problem with changing it to suit Iain & Hacker is that it will still look odd for Dan & Jeff.

They could get a new desk? But them if Ed and Oucho come back then there will be no 'holes' on the desk for oucho?

Yer I know what ur saying but it look odd for Iain and hacker as well as for Dan And Jeff. Plus when summer over Dan and Jeff will not be on screen as much as now.
