A plan of studio 9 is now on the BBC Studio's & post production site. It looks like a decent size studio,

Thanks for posting this! I found the list of programmes produced in TC9 interesting. I was surprised to see Trapped was filmed there? It does seem a very decent sized studio - and I think TMi utilise the space well. It'll be interesting to see how TMi's new set (according to Wikipedia) fits in with the studio. It seems the programme will take a very different format when it returns in September.

Kavanagh was an interesting choice for Controller, though I see he has some experience, contributing to 2007’s revamp and as Head of Scheduling at Children's for a while. I think the BBC Trust highlighted scheduling was an issue, so hopefully his expertise will be beneficial.

I think the next few years will certainly prove interesting for Children's BBC, especially with the move to Salford and Digital Switchover potentially making children’s programmes on BBC One and Two unnecessary.

The games for Trapped weren't shot in TC9, only the links were.

Ah I see...I thought TC9 wasn't large enough for the games!

I saw Any Dream Will Do on the list for TC9 - I don't remember seeing any part of that programme from TC9! Does anyone know which bit was?

TMi is advertising for applications on the CBBC website:

TMi is due to return at the end of September. They want groups of 3 friends, so I wonder if this part of the changes that's mentioned on the wiki page?

Hows that different from the last season where they had groups of 3 friends?

Does anyone know if anything is happening with CBBC this year. I doubt an ident change is on the cards as the current presentation is rather recent. I just hope they do away with the office and become a bit more modern !!

First I've heard of him, and the dates listing him from April, I think its false.

Think it's a wind up - Norman Stanley Fletcher is Ronnie Barker's character in Porridge Exclamation
