the arrows were the first new feature in the ident for 2 years when they arrived. The arrows also brought a change in studio. in my opinion it was a great studio. It had little 'rooms' that were set back from the main presenting area and worked well. however, the studio was shortlived and CBBC was presented in fornt of a screen.

The only problem with the 'arrows' era was the ident was a bit bland, it just floated around and did practically nothing. In comparison to the original bugs:

Even if he was going to be the main presenter for afternoons I not sure he can as he got gigs coming up.

The change in set came a while after the change in pres - but yes, it was okay, but in my opinion not as good as the 2002 sets.

Studio was nice/okay (except virtual studio) but graphics wise it was bland.

I quite liked the CBBC arrows especially when they came up before Look & Read on Class TV!

TMi is now CONFIRMED for a 4th series in September

Does anybody here remember the yellow and black look from 1997? Personally, my favourite era of pres, and came with some funky end titles and end title music a couple of years later.
