The office set is just in a small room shared with Newsround.

They don't share a room.

Err...yes they do share a room in as much as they are the same studio split into two all going through one gallery. Newsrounds.

When were you last there? They do not share a 'studio'. Neither of them actually use a studio anyway, they're both in converted offices, and they're both seperate, they don't share a 'studio floor'.

Probably sooner than you were. They may be converted offices but they now function as studios that is the technical term for them. The share floor space that is all I meant. Some people on the forum happen to know details. Newsround and CBBC Channel links share a gallery and 'office' 'studio' what ever you want to call it space and thats that! It was one room that they devided to accomaodate CBBC.

Well the title worked, got over 600,000 viewers which is quite good for BBC3. Laughing

Well the Children's sign(s) that were originally in the broom cupboard/Pres A got moved to Studio 9 briefly, and disappeared a few months later when CBBC rebranded. Kirsten was a presenter at this point so I guess she got her hands on one when they were being binned!

That is quite an iconic logo if you're twenty-something, I reckon if some company got the rights they might sell a few. Well one at least Smile

I remember writing to Children's BBC and asking that when they changed logo or studio that they could send me the 'Children's' neon logo that Kirsten has in her living room, I guess that's why I never got it ha ha. I do remember that there was a large version featuring the address when presentation moved into studio 9. It really is iconic and I think the whole presentation package would work really well today still. I loved all those different animations that represented that logo, I particularly remember the 'mechanical dogs' version with orange and yellow stripes. Ooh it brings back such memories. I've got a couple of lovely cue cards from that period with the logo on the front and 2 screw top Children's BBC pens. I think that marketed in the right way it could be a really strong regognisable brand today and I would welcome a return, although probably highly unlikely to Children's BBC than CBBC.
