I really hope they update CBBC presnetation from the studio where they intrroduce the next programme. They need to get rid of the puppets that are very patronising to 12 year olds and bring back proper studio's and presenter duos like they did have only 3 years ago. Very Happy

I think you'll find the puppet (Oucho) is actually very popular amongst CBBC's target audience.

So you do not remember Gordon the Gopher or Edd the Duck, then, from the good old broom cupboard days?

They were both popular when I was a teenager!

My dear fellow, don't forget there was nothing similar back in our days watching Children's BBC. This generation had everything new and original. We didn't have puppets and such 20 years and more before them. Rolling Eyes

As they don't remember it, it can't have happened... Razz

It's a bit of a split view regarding Oucho, some kids love him, some want the old format back (I believe that was mentioned in the BBC Trust report)

I think you have to love Ed and Oucho, very comic, and a great 'relationship' between Ed and Oucho/Warwick and often filled with innuendo, or references for the older audiences like my self!

It will be a sad day if we revert to the old presentation of 2002-2007.

Ah that's a shame Sad I sort of miss the old format, however it's been really enjoyable watching them, I couldn't believe the naughty things they got away with Very Happy

This is certainly what I believe to be true. Ed & Oucho are leaving for good as far as links are concerned. CBBC have been auditioning new people for a few weeks now.

Do you know if the office set is being kept? I have a feeling that it won't work with the new presenters.
