Also, during the live newsround at 6.30 it randomly cut to a shot of the CBBC studio where we saw Oucho temporarily 'dead', a woman hand Ed some props for the cake feature.
According to Caroline Flack on Something for the Weekend, herself, Sam and Mark are 95% certain that TMi is coming back for a 4th series due in August.
Wahey..a dull as hell show getting another chance. (Bring back Da Bungalow)
Intresting you say that, a few weeks back I happened to see a new series of the very best of 'Da Bungalow' featuring new sketches, of Dick & Dom 'In Da Mansion'. Seemed to have a good 20 episodes in the series.
The series was Da' Dick & Dom Dairies (presumably Diaries spelt wrong to get the Da at the start of the word, as read as Dairies on the 20th and final part of the series) was on CBBC on BBC Two at 8am for 4 weeks, it was a good series, with good memories, and a lot of things that I hadn't seen before.
Whilst a new Dick & Dom series would be good, it's got to move on from Da Bungalow, I suppose the mansion could work, in a similar vain to Noel's House Party, after all I presume that it was originally designed as a Bungalow to be able to fit it around the CBBC Channel set in Studio 2 back in 2002.
I welcome a new series of TMi, but beg the BBC to give it a proper studio and a return to longer timeslot, technically it could run until 12 without Sportsround in the schedule.
I still wonder if there's anyway that they can share Studio 2 with Blue Peter, the turnaround time wouldn't need to be great, as they've got the end of the week to set up and reherse, and a couple of days before Blue Peter would need it again.

Hmm - didn't Dick'n'Dom come from TC6 rather than TC2 - or was that only later in its life?
As for TC2 - AIUI other shows (non-kids) come from it on occasions now - so CBBC may not have a total buy-out (or may be sub-letting?)

When Da Bungalow moved to BBC One it was given Studio 6, as had all Saturday Morning programmes for the previous years. When it first began as 3 hour Sat & Sunday slots on the Channel only, it was designed to fit around the then CBBC Channel part of Studio 2 (with X Change having the other part of the studio), thus the location of the lift, toilet, step to the door, and even the doors at the ends of the rooms (though they were black holes disguised with rainbow strip curtain things).
Interesting about Studio 2 being used for other programmes, it's a shame that they don't go back to using studio 6. In my opinion TMi can improve by either some way moving back to Leicester Square (though haven't they closed this as a Studio now?), or by going bigger, SM:TV / L&K / Saturday Show size

I've heard different things about MTV Studio 1LS - on the one hand, I've heard that MTV have scaled back operations and closed the studio, but on the other - their website still has the specifications, floorplans and technical info about the studio suggesting that it's still available.

I went past there summer last year and it had huge yellow posters in the window saying 'to let - perferct for a restaurant' or something along those lines. If the have closed operations there, surely its a big loss to MTV considering they had it turned into a studio, and only used it for two programmes, TRL and TMi.
