Anyway, on a CBBC related note CBBC has pulled out it's Christmas pres, it looks as though they're the same idents as last year, but I could be wrong. Can anyone remember if they did anything to the CBBC Channel DOG last year?

Don't think the DOG was altered but I'm pretty sure the trail endboards were snow-topped last year.

I think you're right. In my head I've got an image of snow falling and staying on top of the logo, and then it falling off when the letters moved, though part of me is thinking that this could have been from a music channel.

I just can't believe how TMi has been treated from the first year of 20+ weeks at 165 minutes a show in a great studio, great location, and a load of pre recorded Christmas specials for the Christmas week, to 13/14 90 minute programmes in Studio 9 at TVC ending with a Christmas show just under 2 weeks before Christmas.

I'm suprised at this too. From what i've heard didn't Series 1 (2006) have very good ratings? I believe that the Christmas Day programme had about 1 million viewers too?

It's not just TMi though - Blue Peter has far less output and a small studio than it once did, CBBC presentation is virtually none existent outside of the channel in the afternoons...budgets have clearly been slashed. It's a real shame as people have said, as TMi could clearly run for the 3 hours a week/30 weeks a year that Saturday mornings traditionally did. Now there are 12 weeks at 90 minutes, a further 10 weeks of an hour is Basil Brush is coming back (and that seemed to be most pre-recorded anyway) and no summer replacement show at all.

No snow or anything in the titles, just the Xmas music. Perhaps they're leaving that till next week or they haven't got the money to redo the series 3 titles in an xmassy style? Mind you one of the kids today said they were "addicted to the TMi theme tune"!

Also has anyone noticed when they throw the kid in the gunge at the end they always ask "are you ok" to make sure they haven't drowned or anything, and today's girl didn't seem convinced she was!

I like the TMi theme tune. Wish i could get hold of the package... I'm suprised they're still doing the "Breakfast Bowl of Doom" thing. I thought someone would've complained about it by now. Pity they weren't still in LS1 to do something on Leicester Square Like when Sam (I think) got dressed up as a hot dog, and people were shooting Sauce and Mustard at him XD as a forfeit

I see CBBC throw in a promotion for TopGear last thing on Sunday evenings.

Oddly the closedown ident was the standard sequence, no snow in sight.

Just Dunceton presenting on his own yesterday which was a bit odd - apparently Ed and Oucho had some more filming to do for their show - but also featured the unveiling of the Christmas broom cupboard/office, which has a log cabin sort of look this year.

If TMi come back for a fourth Series, could they do something like Series 1, TMi-tube, but instead, the TMiPlayer. I quite liked that, and Question Mark too.

TMi used their Christmas titles today, it felt like a very festive show. Hope it's back next year.

I think TMi has gone past it's sell by date IMO, was better when it was in Leicester Square but since the move to TC9 it's not that good.
