Well that was rather an abrupt ending to TMi; before they even started the credits properly the screen cut to black, and the Breakdown caption came up then shortly crashing into the CBBC ident.

I thought my digibox had crashed! Laughing

They celebrated their 50th show and played a lot a clips from series 1, nice to see them mention that TMi used to be filmed in Leicester Square as part of a question.

Have they changed the ending music? It didn't sound like the normal one (from what I heard).

Nice that they did show some Series 1 clips. And very brave of Sam to go "Where did we go wrong?"

The end tune sounded like the proper one, before it crashed in to the technical fault.

I'm really enjoying Series 3 of TMi. It was nice to see them refer to their 50th episode and Serious Gameshow seems to provide more scope for humour then CYAF!

Does anyone know if the BBC has broadcast an apology concerning the TMi competition in Series 1? I'm sure Ofcom requested the BBC to broadcast a statement of findings both on CBBC and BBC Two "...in a form determined by Ofcom..." I imagined it would have been at the beginning of the first episode of Series 3, unless it was earlier in the summer.

Nevertheless, TMi is still an entertaining, light-hearted programme, and here's hoping for a Series 4!

Will they put TMi on iplayer because of the fault at the end? I assume they didn't end the show properly after they realised there was a fault?

It is on, but they've cut the fault out. Brought back memories did the highlights, i say brought back memories. Pity they didnt bring Surely the can't make a game out of that!? back. And I don't think they did broadcast and apology on TMi. I've never seen it, and i've only missed one or two

The apology would have been at the start of series 2 as it was during 2007 that the whole "scandal" was revealed, however I don't think they were required to apologise for that one (in fact I don't think they were required to do so for Blue Peter either - it was just done at the time as a matter of course so perhaps that covered it - they did get a fine of course).

Interesting that during the breakdown the TMi DOG remained, and continued into the next show, so must be added by BBC2 tx.

It'll be interesting to see whether TMi does return for a 4th series - 3 years has become the norm over the past decade for Saturday morning shows or presenting teams, and as it's now cut down to 12 x 90 minutes as opposed to 30 x 3hours as in the old days it seems like they're trying to slowly edge out the live Saturday morning kids output. Also Caroline Flack's career appears to be taking off so it'll be interesting to see if she remains on the show, should it return.

Was there a hint in todays TMi that it will return for a 4th series, as Sam said something like "caroline will be leaving in a few weeks, for a few weeks, but she will be back". There is only something like 4 episodes left until end of series

Gladiators is filmed twice a day and only 15 episodes are filmed (8 heats, 4 quarter finals, 2 semi finals and the final). Filming will be over within a month so Caroline will probably be back by the end of the series.
