I was in Leicester Square today and spotted the old TMi studios straight away and across the big windows it has "restaurant to be let" I gather it's either been converted in to a restaurant or there's a restaurant within the building?

I know its been up for rent for a while, i just wanted to know if it had been converted in to a restaurant.

Have TMi made the back of TC9 slightly bigger? It appears to be a bit bigger than last year.

I think what he means is they've added a 'backstage area' which makes the studio seem bigger on camera.

The area where the red and green sofa's usually are, it just looked slightly bigger compared to last year when Sam walked through it on Saturday.

Found this on Youtube as part of Tank Top Day from CBBC (1992?) which includes a little tour of the transmission area and a different view of the Broom Cupboard with I assume Jayne Constantinis at the desk.

It's a good clip, it was mentioned a little while ago in the BBC One thread here which also has a comment identifying the bits of TV Centre shown on the clip.

There was no credits on TMi this morning, the ending was pretty messy (and no one come and say "of course, there was gunge involved") actually. Were they just short for time

Am I the only person to find TMi bland?
