Have to say that I'm quite impressed with the presentation tonight

Vision and sound holding up and the set looks good as well

Finally our show 's not in the shadow of The Grammy's!!!

It's a bit boring though isn't it?

No live-thread for it tonight?

BTW will the live-thread format be returning for EuroVision this year?

Hmm, just as you post that there's a man running down the stage on fire. Laughing

Not been watching yet but I've noticed a lot of criticism on Twitter of the voiceover lady, any idea who it is? I know Matt Berry is doing some VO bits.

No idea who she is but she's shocking.

I tuned in with high hopes, new venue, branding etc. Its bloody awful! Slow, boring, shoddy sound and miss timings coming in and out of breaks. Its anything but slick (of course because its live) but previous years presentation has been a lot more entertaining/watchable.

Also, whilst I am a fan of the new branding, some of the on air graphics are a bit busy, for example on the nominations and features VTs with swirls, and light particles floating around all over the place just looks rather messy! Poor skills really.

It seems very dull and flat. I think next year they need to take a look at the NTA's (held in the same venue) and model it more on that. NTA's tend to flow a lot better and don't have any awkward pauses or silences. Theres also no point in having a comedian host if hes only going to read the autocue. He presented an award earlier but I'd like to see Alan Carr do next years. I found myself switching off when Gypsy Weddings came on and I imagine a lot of others did the same.

Never heard of her. She was shocking, though.

Unless Tumble Tower is willing to do commentary.

Be aware part of the reason the Brits always seem a bit flat is because the audience/slebs have been there since about 5pm. Gradually enjoying the bars and sitting through rehearsals. So by the time the actual show kicks off nobody really cares.

On another note, WHY do we constantly get models or musicians miming musical instruments? Either pay them for the live sound or don't f-cking pay them at all.
