They're being a bit clever Kathy has just been offered some interview on live TV "Me On Live TV Ye " and what about the hospital set and Duffy in with her son as a Patient she was in the BBC one ,and nice to see Dennis from Corrie back from the dead.
I think PC Stamp just cocked up a line there. "How is it coping?.... Sorry, what I'm trying to say is..."
I noticed that too - but it's so hard to tell because they do make it appear to be part of the script. Anyway - nobody speaks perfectly all of the time, so it makes it even more realistic!
This whole programme looks very under-rehearsed from 'the regulars' with the acting at the end of part 3 decidely ropey, whereas the guest stars (especially those in the hospital) on better form.
I actually think that whilst the plot is a bit crap, the acting hasn't been that bad. Certainly better than that in the live ER a couple of years ago, which was decidedly dodgy.

In the old days when The Bill had a production team that took the programme seriously, they deliberately left in errors to highlight the realism to the programme.
I thought the live episode was absolutley amazing. I want a series like this - live or at least day of airing show so that it can be as topical as the 'when was mccartney's baby born? Yesterday....'
I have been a Bill viewer for many years and have watched many years worth of episodes.
The series has changed directions many times and I suppose the viewing figures show that it hasnt put off that many viewers and if anything has increased considering the amount of other tv channels that have been created since 20 years ago.
There have been some great storylines recently but I feel this LIVE episode was basically a talking shop and a 'filler' episode where not THAT much happened apart from some easy talking scenes and of course the hospital bits which were obviously self contained within part of the existing Bill set location.
I was VERY impressed with the immaculate timing and editing but somtimes the dialogue was a bit hard to hear due to high level background noise and too many people speaking at once.
Tony Stamps mentioned 'mistake' appeared to be scripted and part of what the character should have been saying and I couldnt see any mistakes at all.
I particularly liked the way DC Carver showed a copy of today's Daily Mirror in his hand and enquired to a person in the hospital about Paul Mcartney's birth.
Also another nice touch was Jim and June has a small reminiscence about the last 20 years and mentioned some of the old peoples' names. It was a bit contrived but not as dire as a similar attempt of Coronation Street with Ken Barlow doing a similar cringworthy 'trip down memory lane' on their live episode!
A great ending but feel it all happened a bit TOO quick and I couldnt work out what was actually happenning - I wouldve liked some different shots and possibly even a slow mo (even if it is LIVE)
Overall - well done to everyone involved and get rid of that Kathy character she is just sooooo annoying!
