Not keen, but that's a nice wide shot of London, when we finally get to it.
I think mabye something like the current credits mixed in with the wide shot of london would have worked better.
But like fanoftv said, I think I'll also reserve judgement untill Thursday.
But I think the current promo airing ( the one were everyone is frozen at the beginning) is really good, hopefully the titles will be to.
A video of the new bill theme tune and I think closing credits, because of the black bar at the bottom is now on the website. Comments anyone ?

Doesn't really take off to me. The whole tune sounds like an underscore. But I'll wait until Thursday for the full result.

Your source?
Anyhoo, it does sound rather nice at first.
Pan-pipes & violins....mmm, not sure of the mix, but we'll see!
Despite the crap quality of the picture because of the "I've just come out of Uni and have a Camera I can wave about" attitude I might actually watch tomorrow.
I think it suits the darker, more mysterious route they're wanting the show to go down.

There are no 'hints' to the famous Overkill in that new theme tune at all (unless you count the ending which you shouldn't). Somehow they have got rid of the best closing credits and the best music they have ever had just because of a sceduling change to 9pm.
Who knows, they may be forced back to 8pm and what are they going to do then? It sounds like a silly 'police action' movie. I can see it now, the Police running around with very shaky cameras and far to close ups with no talking at all. The Bill as we know it is finished.

Let's hope it gets Reg back too (And Luke Ashton from 1997-2003 - he was kinda cute).
The episode preview on the website looks like it will very much be The Bill as we know it. I don't think a new theme tune (lack of theme tune really) or incidental music will impact on the drama but I do think at some point The Bill will get its theme back in some form.
