The announcerless end credits - however, the music was quite distorted on ITV1HD as you can hear here.

I have done a mock up with the old theme using your video, hope you don't mind.

That is a good mock!

Also where did you get the music for that?

Well I was originally going to use the version off a CD I have, but I 'conveniently' seemed to have lost it so found that off MHP. I also did a version with the original Overkill theme which actually worked better, but it's just not iconic and full enough.

What was your favourite Bill moment from over the years?

Personally I have many but the Don Beech affair and Zain Nadir being the "bent" copper were two of my favourite story-lines from watching The Bill over the years.

Urgent Assistance through to Making Up were great. I remember watching them when I was really small.

The Samantha Nixons daughter got kidnapped, or Garbriel and June and then the one where the little girl was snatched and the story returned a year later with DI Manson and co heading to Brighton to try and rescue the girl. The bombing episode where there were attacks on London and Emma died.

I sort of watched The Bill on and off throughout the years. I think it was the scenes with Burnside that got me interested as a kid followed by June Ackland's house fire - a special feature-length episode that went on for 90 mins or something.

I know a lot of people complained because The Bill became to 'soapy' and based around storylines involving police relationships etc, but I sort of enjoyed this era Embarassed . There was Don Beech on the Run, Jim Carver's battle with alcohol, the fueds between Meadows and Chandler and that scene with Meadows hiding behind the door in his office. The Bill panto, Reggiebabes!, Dave Quinnan and Polly Page, Sam Nixon's daughter and the scandal with Matt Boyden, Evil Gabriel Kent, far too many more to mention.

I always remember Burnside giving that informant a swirly in the pub toilet, much to Carver's dismay!

I always like the scenes with Insp Gold, I thought she was a great character. Sam Callis gave Sgt Stone such depth as well, you never knew where you were with him! I always thought CI Conway was an under-rated character, he came out with some good one-liners.

BROWNLOW: Akela Made me a Sixer!
CONWAY: Oooh, I bet she did Rolling Eyes

Shame, his parking space is still there though "C.I. OPS"
