I started watching it again about 5 weeks back.

Terrible news, they are finishing filming on June 14th then it ends for good. Classic TalkbackTHAMES, giving in to ITV.

What's TalkbackThames going to do? Stamp their feet and say "No, you must continue to pay for me to make this programme"?

typical really, kill off a good established programme whilst still paying for crud like I'm a celebrity which is about as mentally stimulating and entertaining as watching a cheese roll go moldy

No, of course not. They could approach other channels rather than end the programme because ITV don't want it anymore.

And watched by a few million more viewers. I'm a Celeb will get axed long before it goes sub-4m.

So how do people think the Bill may end?
I guess that the Station would probably just close down to merge with another station....although Id prefer to see it go out on a major bang....Literally....maybe a Terrorist bomb kills most of the staff when having a meeting in the station...only Meadows and Smithy survives and decide to quit the force...or join MI5 Wink

She doesn't mention anything about not having tried to sell the programme to another broadcaster.

Considering they found out yesterday, and have stated the programme is ending, I'd say that says they aren't trying to sell it.
