It was sad to see June leave this week. But her exit storyline was brilliant!

Her exit storyline was good, but a few things about it niggled me. For example we never saw her take the cheque that Jim Carver had written for her. This sort of made the scene where Jim told the front desk man to make sure she got it a bit pointless. Plus i know she wanted to leave without saying goodbye and all that, but because of that it made her exit a bit anti-climactical.

June's exit leaves Reg Hollis (Jeff Stewart) the longest standing cast member - joining in 1984.

After Reg its...
Tony Stamp (first appearance 1987)
Jack Meadows (first appearance 1992).

would have been better it they brought back some old faces for her leaving do, but a good exit for June all the same. She is a great actress/character and will be much missed by many.

I'm surprised Bob Cryer didn't turn up.

Didn't Jeff Stewart appear in the pilot, but in voice only (over the radio)? I recall reading somewhere that the character had a different surname, but was called Reg? Or is my memory playing tricks on me?

Oh no...the 'B' word was said before 9pm.
Wait until you hear about Ofcom getting 2 or 3 complaints from those easily offended.
Great episode tonight.

Well
Matt will get Emma charged for crowning him with the vodka bottle-- attempted murder. So Will has to save the day-- or will he?

Sadly in TVF terms, The Bill is under-rated! Easily more entertaining than drivel like Big Brother IMO (sorry but I think it is)!!

Yeah I find The Bill really good at the moment. Tonights episode was great.

Last week's scene with Phil Hunter returning to uniform was funny.

Although I found it a bit far-fetched the whole husband and wife situation of Kathy off EastEnders and the other bloke from Barton Street. "This is my patch.." etc.

Sergeant Nikki Wright, played by Jillian "A1 layby" Taylforth Very Happy Sgt Wright transferred from Barton Street, where she had met and worked with her husband-- hence the banter between the two Wink
