FOUR hander, featuring just Jim,Tony and June.I make that three.
Paul Marquess (executive producer) is doing it because the replacement station will be 'cutting edge', 'state of the art', and 'very modern'.
Also, a cast clearout was obviously needed so I suppose this is the best way to do it. Last year, The Bill was recomissioned until 2012, and he decided to 'rip the show apart and start from scratch', building 'storyline arcs'.
There were rumours that it was going to turn into a four-times weekly soap, each edition half an hour, and other of two hour-long episodes and one half-hour episode. We'll see!
I suppose the future's bright!
(And I completely agree about Holby! Some incredible buildings they have!)
Hey peeps! I love the Bill! As mentiond earlier, it is great police drama, actually it's a fab police drama! I only wish they would show it 3 - 4 times a week! Twice is not enough! Also, on ITV 3, why do they show the two seperate eps when on the weekend when it's advertised as an 'omnibus'...?
