As another poster has said, Romesh is turning up everywhere. He has a great agent clearly on the basis he is so unfunny.

Dare I suggest that with some programmes his booking might also have conveniently ticked a diversity box. I'll reserve judgement until I see the show as to whether having a regular guest will work.

Can it not just be that he's funny? That is a possibility too.

Yes you dare suggest that. And I dare to suggest that you are correct

Lord Hall has spoken of the need for these kind shows to have more ethic minorities and women so it doesn't take a massive jump to suggest that Romesh's inclusion is a boxed ticked for every week of the series. That's not to say he's not there on his own comedic merit, it's just odd they've suddenly decided the need for a regular panelist.
