Is there a series of the Apprentice on this year?

If so is the Apprentice You're Fired! going to be on? With or without Adrian Chiles?

Thanks for your help.

I believe there is yes. If i remember correctly a further 4 series have been comissioned. I think it started in March last year on tv. It moved from Feb to March last year as it moved from BBC Two over to BBC One.

Yes.

I think You're Fired returns, but without Adrian Chiles.

There's also a Celebrity special for Sport Relief - but whether that's a series or just the one episode like last year I don't know.

My mate's mate (a lady) was one of the contestants for this year's show. She went out in week 4 or 5 I think but said it was the most grueling experience of her life.

So there you go.

Is The Apprentice still recorded in the summer of the year before it is shown on tv?

Autumn would be a better bet. My mate was talking about it in October / November if memory serves, and she was out by then.

Coincidentally, when I was in London in the early part of last year I sat next to a couple of Apprentice researchers at the airport and heard them blah blahing about the people on the shortlist.

The first series was filmed in the summer, one of the tasks involved the London Fashion Week which happened not long after the London bombs.

But how can Alan Sugar be looking for another Apprentice now when he sold his business last summer?

Sir Alan Sugar only sold Amstrad. He still owns his property company, Amsprop.

He has quite a few business interests. A bit like Virgin in that they are here there and everywhere, but unlike Virgin the name is not plastered with AMS across every business!
