Just caught the end of this for the first time, what's with the blatant product placement on that rubbish email phone thing? It's not even subtle...

A kind of predictable ending, but liked the "..but..... your hired" bit

Anyone know the name of the tune used in the background after the intro when there was shots of London and randomly throuhgout over the London shots and Tower Bridge stuff? It was used in the London 2012 Promo too.

Was it just my TV or did Ruth's shirt turn black and white in the final few scenes? It got back colour on close ups

I used to have one of those phones. Really expensive....unless you chgeck the small print meticulously, you get charged two quid a day just for the phone to check whether or not you have emails. Got rid of it now and my phone bill is thirty eight pounds cheaper this time!!!

Phew...

Given that the result has been on the newswires all day, I'm amazed I managed to make it through til 9pm without finding out who won.

I had a feeling it might be Michelle - but wasn't sure.

A fantastic series - bring on the next one!

At the start of today I was fairly sure Michelle would win, though as the programme went on I was less sure; when it came to hiring time, I didn't know which way it was going to go, it seemed very close indeed!

Really enjoyed this series and can't wait for the next one - the US show will be shown soon, it seems; but from what I've seen before I think I prefer our version!

Umm. I originally watched the 'Trump' version and hated it and it was with some reluctence that I watched the first UK edition - but loved it!

The second series has exceeded the first in many ways (not least due to the candidates!).

My one critism would be that some of the tasks were really simular, if not carbon copies, of the original. That aspect is slightly disappointing.

That said, what a series! Rooted for Badger and slightly upset she lost out but overall I beleive he made the right decision and an interesting way that BBC Two handled the final.

But yes, going back to my original point, not overly impressed with Donald. He lacks that certain something and it's certainly less, shall we say, classy than the British version.

It's an Amstrad (Sir Alan's company) phone. Rubbish though.

And apologises for two posts on the run, saw this when strolling back up

As I had already knew the outcome (see my previous post - where I got told off for not using spoliers) it was still damn good to watch. BTW I knew about 3 months (when the show began) that Ruth wouldn't win as she has been in the same office block as the company I work for in Manchester for about that length of time - plus when I have visited the Manchester office I have seen Ruth and her partner (I presume) a few times in the evnings in the nearby bar.

Sorry If I may have spolit it for anyone - but it was still good entertaining television and I, too, learned quite a few things from the show (like never employ Sayeed at any cost - too much of a liability!!!! Laughing Syeed, SHUT UP!)
