When did he mention his firm or the name of his employer to give them publicity?!

At first Paul was likeable, but he turned out to be a self-centred idiot. Michelle still seems a bit too demure for me, but maybe Sir Alan will do what he did last year and employ the quieter candidate.

I didn't say that he did, I said that his firm did!

As it is, his company do get a few mentions on Paul's website, plus his firm have got a picture of him on the front page of their site plus a testamonial.

Don't know who wins tonight but the other week I walked by the Amstrad office to see the blonde girl (what's her name?) in the final tonight, stood outside on her phone. If the show was filmed ages ago, what would she still be doing there??? Hmmmmmm

Surely the winner would have been told not to do things which would obviously give it away, like what clanger described above?

Or maybe this is just a diversion.

There was a thing in the Sunday times that they both had been spotted in relation to being inside Amstrad recently.

Then again how far in advance was it filmed. It was funny - Sir Alan was on Breakfast talking about how it was recorded and how he knows, yet Ruth and Michelle were on GMTV acting is if they were only gonna find out that night.

All the episodes EXCEPT the end of tonight's were recorded a while ago. Two endings are ready to be shown tonight. I would expect it will be decided today / tonight which conclusion Sir Alan wants.

I'd also assume they have done what they did last series, and employed both of them from the end of the tasks until now.

I reckon recording stated last summer given the full trees we see from time to time. Also the Thames festival, where the teams set up food stalls, last year was in September.
all this makes me think it was in the can a while back.

According to an article in todays Times, that's exactly what's happening.

That would explain a lot, but it would have required Ruth and Michelle to totally fake their reactions (ie. act) when they were told they'd won...
