...for bringing back this amazing advert of yours.

The joose is loose aboot this hoose!

I caught it on Channel 4 as it was going into Balls of Steel. I must admit it was great to see it back! Very Happy The advert is exactly the same, though it's now in widescreen and has up-to-date packaging.

Keep a loook out for it Wink

I think this the earliest advert I remember, although it lasted a fair few years (think it ran until about 1994ish). When I first got internet access early this decade I found it on TV Ark and rewatched it religiously.

Any chance of any other classic adverts from the same timeframe coming back too? Please!

I notice an old Doctor Pepper advert showed up on the networks last night.

At the risk of turning this further into an old ad fest, I've fond memories (!) of Dawn French in the old ads for Ruddles County.

The Maynards advert is an all-time classic.
The Cola-Cola advert jingle in Billy's post is still used albeit cut-down on the radio adverts. The advert is long gone.
The linked Toys R Us advert was the generic one. They later edited this to show off current offers of the day.
Wasn't the Guinness advert remade in some fashion?

Speaking of classic adverts, I really loved this one at the time, an advert for Rolo.

I love this add. It first aired years ago and it's nice to see it again.

And here's the original song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dwFDN0ikfbY&NR=1

Nothing beats the classic Tango ads! The stupidily bizarreness of them. I wish they made more.

One of the freakiest.. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=ou7cELefDpA Think this was later banned as kids were having nightmares or something.

The Tango ads with the slogan "You know when you've been Tango-ed!" were not banned but voluntarily pulled by Tango because kids were copying slapping each other hard across the face in school playgrounds up and down the country in a form of early 1990s Happy Slapping if you like. Replaced with a kissing variation which wasn't as memorable and wasn't copied in the playground either Smile

I think the exploding Granny advert caused a few kids to have nightmares, can remember running around tango-ing people at school, actually I still do it now to people I don't like Laughing

If we're going down the old ad road. I loved these ads. I never got sucked into buying the products advertised as a kid. I used to save my pocket money for 10 players no6 and a 4pk of tennants extra instead.
