It's the UK version of the Australian improvisional comedy Thanks God You're Here.

Pretty good so far. It also has Hamish Blake from the original version.

It's usually comedians they use in the original version.

Fern Britten was brilliant

Its good so far, and has great potential but the main problem so far is that the non-celeb actors don't improvise enough around what the celeb says and stick too much to the script they havebeen given - such as when Fern gave a made name for the psycic and they ignored it and carried on using the name the actress was given in the script. That said I am enjoying it

it was the right choice for her to win

I love this! It's sort of like Whose Line Is It Anyway for 2008. Paul Merton is brilliant as always but I'd have preferred him to say "are you wearing my wife's knickers" on donning the X-ray specs!

I'd forgotten about this one and was going to see if I could catch another episode...

... until I heard the name "Fern Britton". Why, ITV, just why?

What on earth has that bland daytime nobody to do with comedy?

Fern is hardly a 'nobody'

And someone whose claim to fame is working on "This Morning" is what, exactly?

Oh just be greatful it was her and not somebody ala Tara Palmer Tompkinprat.

As for John Thomson, I saw him live a few years ago - he absolutely bombed. He's one of those comedians who thinks he can do improvisational comedy but his best talent is as a comic actor really. That said, I don't think he did too bad tonight "Sister Brian the Blessed.."
