I only say this as it's supposed to be "updated" but it'd be nice if the animation eased in and out rather than the jolting start-stop of the original. It looks too nice and polished for it to be spoiled (IMO) by that minor niggle.

Love the updated jingle!

Geographically even more screwed up than the original. It all looks a bit cluttered, would be nice to see a version which is a bit more selective over which buildings are included

Thanks for sharing this, in the appropriate way.
This is epic!

Fantastic.

Does anybody know if there is more to the music than the ident itself and if there was a full thames score?

There was, it was used in the start up routine.

Starts at 3m20

And there's a further extended version on the end of this

Thank You Smile

Thames has to be the best ident and start up of them all.

I liked LWT's, it was far 'jazzier'. It was always a let down because the first programme of the morning
was usually something dire (if you were a 10 year old, with an unhealthy interest in ITV start ups !)

Wasn't the first programme on LWT Sesame street?

Also the Start up theme was still being used in 84 during the strike.

For periods, yes, I think it was. Started at 0830

The strike in 1984 was at Thames, LWT were unaffected
