I don't know if I imagined this the other day but does Thames Television have another new production slide, I don't know if this has been mentioned here before, any chance of a screen grab please

Sorry I accidently posted this in the Media Pages

It's mentioned in the Pop Idol thread. Basically, a new company called TalkbackTHAMES has been created as a result of a merger between Thames & Talkback Productions.

So, the production slide to The Bill now reads:

THAMES

TalkbackTHAMES
A FremantleMedia Company

Talkback's slide will read:

Talkback

TalkbackTHAMES
A FremantleMedia Company

I've always wondered why when Fremantle Media announced that Thames would be the name of the production company in the UK, why Talkback Productions continued as a separate entity (thought that would be part of Thames), despite making Fremantle's UK productions as well.

And do not forget that Freemantle is owned by RTL Group, who in turn is majority owned by Bertelsman AG.
