I've found an interesting 'new year' Thames ident which was used on 1 January 1988. The tape I've got of it is poor quality, so even if I get a TV card in the near future, I don't think it'll be possible to get a clean image out of it, but if this is a new discovery then I'll try to do a proper recreation for you.
I'll attempt to describe it: it's on a white background, with four large diamond-shapes (made up of smaller diamond shapes) overlapping to make the number 88, and at the bottom it says 'NEW YEAR'S DAY'. And I have an example of it definitely being used as a proper ident, not just as a trailer bumper. Has anyone got this, or should I fire up the graphics package?
