I know ITV are miserable buggers when it comes to the end credits, but surely for big productions like this they could have done special credits. After the brilliant programme, seeing the dull black and white credits feels very flat.

Good job ITV, I agree that was better than CiN and didn't drag on like CiN does.

Only credited the on screen talent too. In general though credits haven't needed to be on black for any show since the 2013 revamp considering they just reduce them to 1/4 screen now.

Yep, but they must think its just easier to keep them that way for some weird reason. It surely wouldn't be hard to change the background though, even keeping the text the same. Or even just keep the background on the show with the credits overlayed. Didn't they do that last year?
